I was reading the Newpaper today & came across this small section.
I quote:
"National Servicemen will no longer need to apply for an exit permit if their overseas trip is less than 3 months. The move comes into effect next month, so it will no longer be a hassle if they intend to go for short overseas trips or trips after office hours.
Operationally-Ready NSmen need not surrender their exit permits upon return to S'pore.
NSmen who have completed their Operationally-Ready National Service training cycle can travel overseas without notifying Mindef if their trip is less than 6 months."
I guess it'll really be hassle free to travel overseas from next month onwards!
