The concept of the army museum is great. The museum gives an insight to our present and future generations on how our army has transformed over the decades into the 3G army we have now.
I am truly honoured to be part of such a great organization. It has achieved so much over the years and provided the nation with much needed peace and security. Without the army, our nation’s defence will be compromised.
Besides having an army museum, it would be a bonus to our present and future generations if enlistees from the very first few batches of our army could come forward and share their experiences during their army days. This is to allow our future generations to come to realize that their NS training is not as tough as before. With the technology that the army is equipped with, I believe many current National Servicemen would realise that training is not as tough now.
Indeed, having the army museum and some public sharing sessions by enlistees of the first few battalions of our army about their NS experiences would allow our present and future generations to realize how the army has improved over the years and we should be proud of it.
