Do you think it is harder to get a job if u have a tattoo?

My parents and their parents still insist that a tattoo will give u lower chances in getting a job.

I actually don't know..maybe it also depends on the line of work ure in.

But whatever it is, do u think someone else interviewing for the same position will have chances than u if u have a tattoo and that person doesnt?

it's a no-no where i work and i love what i do. the first thing i said to myself when i got this job was, "thank God i didn't get that tattoo."

Depends on the social norms, and the company's policies, official or otherwise. Generally, people frown upon people having tattoos

It is going to be very hard to get a job if you have a visible tattoo.

My company has no guideline on not hiring people with tattoos. But then again, it is very difficult to convince a potential employer when the interviewee has plenty of visible tattoos.

if you love it, do it. you live only onces.

just do it on the parts that a long pants and long sleeves shirt can cover.

i got a huge one and up to date, i go no problem with anything cos it is done like the japanese style - only on the parts that a office wear can cover - not on the face, hands and feet can liao...

mnc, law firm, banks and clinic might not be ok liao.

yah yes... coz tattoos are taboos...

and u see angmos mostly don't have tattoos because they know professionalism is very important even they are not that conservative compared to us
