It's Singapore history like you've never seen before - Sang Nila Utama wondering if it was truly a lion he saw, bungling J-pop pilots, terrifying Peranakan matriarchs, cavemen roaming Singapore's shores. Starring Selena Tan, Pam Oei and Emma Yong with Hossan Leong and 6 hot Beefcakes, and directed by Glen Goei. It's an all-new cabaret comedy of epic proportions!

Sir Stamford Raffles: '' Well, Singapore was just a tiny fishing villiage when I first step foot upon the island.. it was hot, swampy, and I was one of the rare ang mohs around! but wow..Singapore is so well developed and advanced after 188 yrs. I love Singapore because of the pretty Singaporean girls and the lovely weather, love it when it rains.. i am able to get a good clean wash up. It's rather dirty standing here for so many years ''

Sir Thomas Stamford Raffles:" Well, it used to be the excellent location of the country. But now, I love the attention I get. I'm sort of a hero here in Singapore since I am the one who founded it. Students learn about me during history lessons and tourists from all parts of the world will come here and take a picture with me. Yes, its quite a tiring job but I'm too photogenic to complain about that. My wish is that the weather isn't too hot everyday."

Sir Stamford Raffles :"Huh? Who said anything about loving Singapore? Well I have grown quite an affection for Singapore over the years but in all honesty it was for all done to for the sake of the commercial treaties; For Queen and Country! It most certainly paid handsomely to have knowledge of a foreign language, hence I think all Singaporeans should learn from me. At that time it was Malay, but I think everyone should learn a bit of everything. But for now I believe Mandarin and Tamil will come in handy. Oh well tata it's time for tea & scones.

Sir Stamford Raffles: "I love Singapore cos' i played a major part in the country's development to what it is today. It is heartening to know that Singapore has not forgotten me,and that each generation would have learnt of me n maybe even looked up to me!Nothing beats seeing your hard work bear fruit, being loved by others does not hurt too!"

Sir Stamford Raffles was a Briton explorer, and a businessman if I'm not wrong, so definitely, business wpuld come to his mind first.

He probably said, "Singapore, being smack at the tip of the Malaysian Peninsular, is probably one of the most strategic locations around South East Asia where we can expand our empire! I can see it now, all ships travelling down the Malacca Straits will have to dock in this island. We'll be rich! And that's what I like best about this place"

A little refrence from my P6 Social Studies...

Sir Stamford Raffles: "Singapore is my love as things can be done in an orderly manner, all you have to do is to apply for the necessary permits, just like the vision I had when I first met her "
