Default Is it important for a guy to be a gentleman??

My take: Not worth it. Sg women are sometimes backstabbers who take advantage of guys' gentlemanness. Be nice to women, guys also didn't get a thank-you.

Be nice to give up seats, those aunties also won't be grateful. And yes, I want ppl to be grateful for every kind act I've done for them because if we don't, they would give stares.

Be nice to pay for women's cab, they still expect you to pay for them in the future, all abusing the name of gentlemen.

Sg women are not worth it being gentlemanly to!

Discuss.

Women are as ungrateful as cats.

Once I feed a cat, after it finishes the food, it just run away when I tried to ''sayang'' it. Next time, I maybe should mix its food with chocolate!

And, there seems to be no benefits of a guy being a gentleman; only to be taken advantage off by women!

It is important for a guy to be a gentleman. Besides, I dont see any point of girls taking advantage of a gentlemanly guy. Isnt it supposed to be that girls will take advantage of rude and ungentlemanly guy?

I think one shd b gentlemanly.
Not becos you want others to repay u; not becos u want to b shown gratitude.
Joy comes from being gd to others, being kind, helping others, being gentlemanly to others..

I am, but people just took it for granted.
They think it is natural.
It is a priveilege and not a gift.
