A Stinky, Fishy Affair
Keith, 38, a customer service executive, faces and smells fish being dried above his unit every weekend. According to him, his "neighbour is a chinese family who bought the resale unit some years ago. They live on the 12th storey, and are very fond of that delicacy."
Keith had tried "telling them that when the sun shines", his whole kitchen smells of fish. Their reaction? "They turned hostile," he says.
He continues," On certain days we can even see a whole bamboo full of those dried skins and the stench is unbearable.
My parents have since given up telling them not to hang those out as they don't listen. Also we wouldn't want to offend them because we are living one storey below, which is to our disadvantage."
Do you have similar experiences with inconsiderate neighbours? Tell us.

Mine was inconsider neighbour who don't bother to dry their clothes and hang out to the sun. They did not even think of those clothes that was squeeze dry downstair and the water keep dripping non-stop.
Normally, they being the inconsiderate makes me inconsiderate too, yell up and ask them not to be so lazy.. Got to think of the neighbour downstairs.

I too face the problem of dripping clothes from my neighbours upstairs too... They are really inconsiderate, and always hang out their wet clothes to dry in the sun. They did not bother that their dripping clothes are wetting others' laundry. In fact, I approached them twice to ask them not to hang out dripping laundry. The 1st time, they explained that their maid was new, and they did not know the maid hung out the wet laundry. They apologised and I left. The dripping situation still persists. I approached them for the 2nd time. This time, they invited me into their house kitchen area and told me they did not have a washing machine. They have to squeeze dry their clothes using hands. Also, they said that some clothes cannot be squeezed too dry as it will be spoilt. So, they said they will not hang out their dripping laundry if I hung out mine.
To date, they are still inconsiderate and still hang out their dripping laundry even though my dry laundry is hung out. So its "raining" every morning as usual. Worst still, some of their clothes colour run, and the "rain" actually spoiled my white blouse with their "coloured rain". I guess, I just have to dry my clothes in the house and wish more sunlight come into the house.
Well, conclusion here is, people really can give all kinds of excuses.... and even if you tell them nicely, they will say ok and brush you off. They still will not change their behaviour. If only one day everyone can learn to be considerate, how nice this society will be....
