Gentlemen are fast becoming extinct!

Opening car doors for girls used to be a gentlemanly act. There days guys no longer do that, not even if their wives are pregnant or carrying the baby. The gentlemanly act died when Queen Victoria no longer rules Britain.

Pulling out the chair for the lady to sit has also died. The BF or husband no longer do it and neither does the waiter do it too. Ladies are expected to pull out their own chair if they don't want to stand while eating their food.

And in the MRT, guys are the first to rush for the seats. Strong and brawny guys will elbow their way to the empty seats leaving the ladies amused, angry, upset and disgusted.

And if ladies expect the guys to pay on a date, the ladies must have been born yesterday. SG guys may be born in Singapore but they prefer to do thing the Dutch way. Ladies either do it the Dutch way or stay home watch TV and eat mummy's home cooked food.

And mummy will asked...."Why no date this Saturday?"

Little Chrystaline will reply ....."Yes mum, no date today......I don't like to go Dutch. I am waiting for someone to go French with me"

Actually you'll be surprised at the speed of some of those old aunties. What they lack in strength they make up for in unbashfulness, cos they have no qualms with running like a crazed madman towards a chair.

The days of chivalry are dead. Both Gentlemen and ladies are an endangered species.

It's easy to find a gentleman. Just behave like a lady and you'll see all the gentlemen appearing. After all, what use is a gentleman if there isn't a fine lady around to appreciate his acts?
