i'm the one doing all the shopping so it's "got discount or not". But actually it's "how much" first.

I always go 'How ah?' too. Somehow this is a very common phrase for me especially when im thinking of a particular question or asking students how they are going to go about solving their problems or disputes.. *grinz..*

For me it's 'so how?' because as a generation brought up in a plethora of choices everywhere we always get to choose. That makes me very fickle minded and everytime I want to go out or do something that will be question I ask to everybody after much useless discussion.

Why don't have 'Shiok'?

How about:

"You eat what?"

"Scuse Me"

"Go where?"

"Go where eat?"

"Aiyah"

"Ayioh"

All the "Umm", "Lah", "Leh", "Arh", "Hor", "Huh?"

Many people favourite: "WTF!" Break down the abbreviation.

Some will simply ask: "Got discount?"

"Don't like that lah!"

"Got what!"

The more recent classic hit: "Nong Nong Ago!"

With so much BS around, 'real or not' is my fave...not that Miss Austen would have approved.
